Grade 9 - Personal Development Programme (under construction)
At the moment we are developing a new introductory programme for Grade 9 students that will support important choices that have to be made in regard to subject selection for the Further Education and Training (FET) phase of their formal schooling. These subject choices impact directly on the possible Tertiary Education and careers that can be pursued after Grade 12. In the Grade 9 year, students are asked to begin planning their future and in order to effectively make these important life decisions we believe it is vital to understand and know ones strengths, talents, and the necessary skills to develop to the greatest potential. The Grade 9 programme will therefore focus on knowing oneself in order to prepare for the future and to begin formulating a path to realize the dream of what a student desires to become.
