Vision AfriKa Photography Exhibition
Vision AfriKa held its very first photography exhibition in partnership with the Stellenbosch Academy of Photography and Design. The theme was “Living and Learning in Kayamandi”.
Picnic Update
Mother Nature was unwilling to collaborate with us last weekend. After much deliberation, we decided it would be best to avoid the rains and postpone the Sunset Picnic until the new year.
Vision K and Vision V, as well as the Grade 11 drama group, had worked so hard on their performances that we went ahead with the entertainment part anyway. Hundreds of members of the Kayamandi community gathered at AmaZink on Sunday afternoon to see dance, music, poetry and drumming. Cake and Coke, donated by special sponsors, ensured that everyone went home filled with sugared excitement. Our next newsletter, coming in mid-November, will include a detailed report of the day.
